For centuries, facial acupuncture (known as cosmetic acupuncture or facial rejuvenation) was performed in China to preserve the youth and beauty of the Royal court. Acupuncture has proven to be such an effective treatment for ailments such as Bell’s Palsy, Stroke, and facial paralysis that it naturally progressed to being a treatment for cosmetic purposes. Our treatments are based on the principles of acupuncture, treating the root cause such as toxins, stress, digestion, hormonal imbalance and other issues determined by your evaluation. However, we also enhance your treatment by focusing on the points that stimulate circulation of Qi in the face and to the skin. In addition to acupuncture, in our anti-aging treatments we often combine facial sculpting, Chinese herbs, detoxification, and nutritional counseling to provide faster and longer lasting results.
THE RESULTS
While acupuncture will not change the structure of your face, it stimulates collagen production, increase circulation, and stimulate muscles, so you can expect to look 5-15 years younger after your recommended treatments. We typically recommend treatment at least twice a week for 5 weeks for maximum results, followed by maintenance treatments spaced out over regular intervals. We will work with you to create a customized beauty plan to target your areas of concern.
